Apr 21, 2016 Mother's Day 2016 With every pie there is a story. The best part of all this is the story behind each delivery. Things are booming at It's Easy As Pie and I want to share what I'm so excited about for Mother's Day this year. This all "stems" from Mother's Days of the past. When my four children were younger our tradition, like many, was to go to the nursery on Mother's Day weekend and select a variety of plants & seed packs which we would then go home plant together. The garden was then enjoyed for the rest of the season by all having been "rooted" in this great tradition. Now my four children are all away at college and with May approaching I decided it was time to come up with an idea. This gift is today and tomorrow in nature. Fresh pie for now and a garden for bouquets and enjoyment in the days ahead. This well outlasts any flower arrangement and is s lovely way to send the spirit of the day from even from a distance away. What I like too is even if Mom has passed away what better way to remember her than with a slice of her favorite pie and a new garden? It is simple , but isn't that what Mother's Day is all about? Happy Spring!CindyOwner, It's Easy As Pie
